The Federal Register is the official journal of the Federal Government of the United States that contains most routine publications and public notices of government agencies. It is published daily, except holidays. Every day the Environmental Protection Agency and the Federal Aviation Administration are required to publish rules, proposed rules and notices in the Federal Register. When a rule, proposed rule or notice is published in the Federal Register it is legally deemed to have put the public on notice about its existence.
